Mayflower National Guard

The 9th Infantry Brigade Combat Team is the mainstream fighting force of the Mayflower National Guard. It encompasses both infantry, engineering, and air cavalry elements which provide the Guard with various field capabilities and an organized combat front.

Subordinate Elements

2nd Air Cavalry Squadron

The 2nd Air Cavalry Squadron is a combat element within the Guard, combining both infantry with aerial operations. A more advanced combat element when compared to regular infantry, as it includes a dedicated air wing which enables the Squadron to support other elements of the guard with use of rotary-wing aircraft.

• Troop B
  Air cavalry infantry troop assigned to the 2nd Air Cavalry Squadron.

• Troop C
  Air cavalry aviation troop assigned to the 2nd Air Cavalry Squadron.

15th Infantry Battalion

The mainstream infantry force within the Guard, providing ground capability, field presence, and manpower for Guard operations.

• Alpha Company
  Infantry company assigned to the 15th Infantry Battalion.

• Bravo Company
  Infantry company assigned to the 15th Infantry Battalion.

27th Engineering Battalion

An unrivalled support battalion, providing field engineering to create support structures for Guard operations, they also provide specialist experience with respect to explosive devices and defusal.

• Bravo Company
  Engineering company assigned to the 27th Engineering Battalion.

109th Medical Company*

The 109th Medical Company is responsible for providing support to all areas of the Guard with respect to medical support functionality. It supports a dedicated air wing which conducts search and rescue operations across the State at request of partner agencies or during State of Emergencies.
